About D782 Nelly
D782 Nelly is a black Tropical Dingo, yes Dingos can be black. She has been raised by a dog trainer and wildlife educator from the Northern Rivers, being developed so she has the best start at life. Socialised with all sorts of places, sounds, animals and people, but her training must be continued.
Nelly is super adventurous, smart and is a bit of a Houdini. She would be suited to a home with another older dog who can be a companion for her as Dingos are a pack animal.
Before you think about adopting a Dingo, you need to understand what they are. They are an apex predator of Australia, not a domestic dog. Nelly is super cute and is very sweet, but you must make sure you have the appropriate fencing and know that she will not behave the same as a domestic dog as Dingos can be timid and aloof by nature.
NRAS will consider extending the 100km radius rule for the right applicant for Nelly.
