Hi my name is Oda but my foster mum likes to call me Odie Bear!!

I love to give cuddles; sometimes I will put my paw up or nudge my foster family with my nose to remind them to keep on patting me. I’m very human-centric, and would prefer my family to be around more often than not. I’ll need some training in this aspect too, as I get a little nervous when left alone.

As I’m still quite young, I’m still learning good manners and will need further training so I can be the best version of myself, with a specific focus on separation, attention and learning what size I am so I can be gentle. Due to this, I would prefer a home with children 10+.

I am a quick learner and know basic commands like sit, stay, down, shake, drop(an item), stop (with hand gesture), and let’s go (after being asked to wait). I am toilet trained but my foster mum has a doggie door and if this is closed I will let out a little whine or I will lap the house to ask someone to let me out.

Whilst I would prefer to sleep in the same room as my human family, I am also being crate trained, and will happily nap in my crate if I need a break. I’m still learning about the big world, so I can be a little overwhelmed by new dogs at times, but with time, I’m sure I’ll love playing with calm doggie friends
