About Dessie
Dessie is a beautiful domestic short haired tabby, with unusually symmetrical markings.
Her face is cheekily emblazoned with an M for “Mask”
She is playful and affectionate in equal amounts, with a purr to rival an outboard motor.
Her greatest joy is furniture parkour, and we can assure you that those kids on YouTube have nothing on her!
During her life with us, the sweet pitter-patter of timid little feet has slowly grown
into the rumble of the jungle. She takes great delight in chasing toys, showing great engagement in playtime with her foster humans, from children to the elderly. Although sometimes timid, she is exceptionally friendly and will make a wonderful indoor pet to the right humans.
She is toilet trained, vaxxed, desexed, microchipped and ready to find her forever home and bring a tremendous ruckus to your realm.

Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
