Hi My name is JoJo and I am looking for a calm person/family to patiently introduce me to all the amazing things there are to explore in the world. In return, I will shower you with love.

Being at home, with or without my family, is my comfort zone. I’ll happily spend my days lying around and quietly snoozing. At your feet, if you’re a work from home person. Or if you work away from the home, I’ll happily just lie around in the backyard.

My foster Mum thinks I would be ok to live with another dog but because I haven’t had much experience with other dogs, becoming a good play mate for another dog may take some time. The resident dog here has been nagging me to play with her but I just don’t understand what I’m supposed to do, so I always just walk away and chill.

I absolutely love meeting new people and going new places. Go anywhere near my lead and I’ll be absolutely peaking with excitement. When I’m excited, I love to tell you about it, and I’ve been told my bark is quite loud. However, in the short time I’ve been in foster care, I’ve already calmed significantly on our walks. With a patient and calm person to provide some guidance and training out in the world, going for walks will be fun for everyone, not just me. I will need some extra work to get me to be calm in the car though.

I’m also fantastic with kids. I’m currently sharing a home with three primary school aged children and they think I’m amazing because I don’t insert myself in their games of football and basketball like the resident dog. Nor do I try to herd them when they’re running around like headless chooks. My preferred place to sleep is on the floor in between the kids’ beds ❤️
