About Silkie - Located in Braybrook
Hello, wonderful humans! I'm Silkie, and let me tell you, my journey from a shy cat to a confident and loving companion has been nothing short of magical. I've been basking in the foster life for almost two years now, patiently waiting for that special forever family to whisk me away to my purr-manent home.
In my time here, I've blossomed into quite the polite lady. Picture this: cozy TV nights on the couch, nestled right by your side, and sweet dreams shared in the warmth of our bed. I'm not just charming; I'm a pro at delivering those irresistible cheek smooches. I've got skills, and I'm not afraid to use them!
Mealtime? Oh, that's a gourmet affair. I savor every bite like it's a delicacy. Not a morsel goes to waste when Silkie is at the dining table!
Now, let's talk compatibility. I thrive in a quiet environment, and I'm all for sharing my space with gentle pets. Cats and dogs? Been there, tested that, and I've proven my adaptability and friendly nature. I'm basically a social butterfly with fur.
While I may not ask for much, I do need a patient human who can nurture my growing bravery. If you're ready to provide a loving forever home for Silkie, get ready for a lifetime of companionship, cheek smooches, and purr-fect moments. Trust me; I'm worth the wait! 🌟💕

Medical notes
Silkie is vision impaired. She has limited vision as the vision pathways have not developed properly in both eyes. Saying this it does not affect her everyday life, infact you would hardly know that she had any issues with her eyes.
The veterinary ophthalmologists believes this was likely due to suffering from feline herpes virus (cat flu) at a young age when her sight was still developing, as she also has scarring on the surface of both eyes. She currently requires no treatment, but needs to be an indoor only cat. Preferably in a household that is safe for a vision impaired pussy cat.
