Please meet the stunning Sophia Loren of the cat world whom we have named Nema.

She was saved off the streets and has been with one of our dedicated foster carers ever since.

Nema came in terrified. She had been a stray, dumped for who knows how long before a kind person trapped her and called us for help.

She came into CARMAR care completely unsure of how to behave, she had no understanding that her life was about to change for the better. Our foster carer has spent months reabilitating Nema, she only understood hissing and growling and hiding in the wardrobe of her room in the beginning but
with lots of love, kindness and patience, Nema has blossomed into a stunning looking cat.

She talks non stop to her foster carer and even though she is still very shy around strangers she's showing her funny quirky nature more and more.
She likes to just hang out with her foster mum around the house, her inquisitive cat nature has got the better of her now and she loves watching and learning what you're doing.
She doesn't like being picked up at this stage but loves a cuddle at night on the bed as you can see in one of our photos of her.

Nema is ready for her new life to begin! She deserves a kind soul to keep her reabilitation going. She's going to be your best friend and follow you around chatting.
Nema appears to be very shy of male voices but very comfortable with female voices. She's been through things she can't tell us sadly.

She loves to sit at the door peering out but does not want to venture out 'there' as yet. Time will tell on that front.

Our vets have estimated Nema at around 3 years old.
She's desexed, vaxxed, wormed, microchipped, free of fleas and she's a champ with the litter box.
