Hi, my name is Baxter!

I'm a 6.5 year old Chihuahua Mix. I'm a very happy boy but I do get nervous when left alone so I need a human who will always be by my side. I think with some training, I can learn to be on my own but until then, I need a home where someone will always be with me.

I love to play with other small dogs like me and a companion at home would be great. I'm good with medium dogs and I am ok with cats but when they run, I like to chase them. I am learning about chickens and other birds and ok supervised but I do like to chase them too.

I love a little walk everyday or a run in the park every couple of days or I can get a bit bored. I like to sit by your side on the couch and I love growling while chewing my toys but my tail is always wagging. If you let me, I will snuggle in bed with you.

I bark at passing pedestrians to keep the house safe. I am house trained, well behaved and quite obedient but do like to do my own thing sometimes. I am great on a leash and when off leash, in a safe place, I come back when I'm called.
