Spike is a handsome, gentle and loving boy. He can be a bit shy at first but then just wants to be around you. He is friendly with other dogs and good with children. He also seems to be tolerant of other animals, for example chooks, so is essentially just a wonderful dog and will make one lucky family very happy!
When it comes to manners, Spike comes to his name, behaves well when he's out in public, walks well on lead, and loves travelling in the car.
Spike can be left alone for a few hours, but he's very Staffy-like in character meaning he really does prefer to have his people around for most of the time. He can wiggle through deceptivly small spaces so will need a secure back yard. Spike is a medium energy dog and his ideal home will be with another playful dog for daily games in the yard or at the park, as well as at least 1, preferably 2 walks a day.
Spike is quite a sensitive soul and would love a quietish, loving and active home. If this sounds like you, and you'd like to meet this beautiful boy, please fill in our SAFE Application Form to apply.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.
All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.
After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
