Our gorgeous and cheeky Bijou is looking for a special home, she is a typical happy puppy, she loves to play, play, play and is eager to learn new things. But Bijou is also deaf and therefore needs a special person who is willing to train her with hand signals. Being a puppy and deaf it is important to put time and dedication into training and obedience classes. Bijou is a very clever and cheeky girl who likes to test the boundaries. But she is also keen to please you as she is easily motivated by treats. She is currently learning to sit, wait, come and drop with hand signals. This will need to be continued in her forever home.
Bijou is currently in care with older children and another dog and loves to play with them. Being a puppy she is quite jumpy and mouthy, but she is learning that jumping and mouthing means play stops. She has shown that she is a fast learner when you are consistent with setting new rules or commands. Bijou is also in care with a cat, she is very excited around the cat, therefore would be only suited to live with a confident cat that can tell Bijou who the boss is.
Bijou is doing quite well with her house training and only has few accidents when you forget to let her outside, she sleeps all night in her crate in the bedroom without any accidents.

Bijou is looking for a forever home where she is a part of her family's daily life and activities, someone who understands the need of working breeds to be mentally and physically stimulated and who is committed to take her to puppy school and dog obedience to make Bijou flourish and achieve the best she can be.
