Hi, my name is Everlee and I found myself in a rural Queensland pound. Due to lots of flooding in the area, many cats have been handed into pounds with very few adoptions or saves. Sadly many rescues in the area are full so things weren’t looking good for me. Lucky for me CK dedicated a trip there and saved 21 little lives that almost didn’t make it out of the pounds. I am one of those lucky ones 😌

In the pound, I got extremely sick with cat flu and I stopped eating because I could no longer smell food. I lost a lot of weight and halfway through my trip back to Melbourne I gave everyone a real fright and had to be rushed to a vet. Thankfully I got the medicine I needed, lots of fluid and special high-calorie/nutrient-dense food to get me feeling better. I arrived in Melbourne wafer-thin but after having small regular meals, fluids, electrolytes and vitamin injections I got back to feeling myself. The sweetest lady took me into her home as a foster kitty where I have been absolutely spoilt!!! My condition has come back and the rescue told me I’m a very strong fighter with a huge will to live and now I am ready for a home of my own 🤭

I’ve been told I’m an extremely sweet girl that LOVES people and I am not very vocal. I love to play and snuggle right next to my foster mum, my favourite is when she’s at home with me giving me lots of pats, I really really love her 🥰

Nothing fazes me, I get along super well with other cats in fact I love to play with other kitties. My foster mum also has kids that I enjoy hanging out with, I would work well in a home with children. I can even tolerate a well behaved cat friendly dog if you have one! My favourite hobby when I’m not with my foster family is sitting at the window gazing at birds and I also love food!!! When I’m called for dinner time I’ll be there in a flash 😉

All adoptions have a two-week trial period. You must fill out our rescues application prior to all meet and greets. An adoption agreement is to be signed for all animal adoptions through our rescue.
