About Gemma
Meet Gemma
Beautiful little Gemma has had a tough life so far.
She was rescued from an awful situation, she was locked in a cage for alot of her life.
Since coming into care she has shown no signs that this treatment has broken her trust in humans.
She is a gentle, loving, quiet and fun little lady!
She Is great with dogs of all sizes, but can sometimes chase one of the cats in her foster home so we think she is best suited to a home without cats.
Unlike alot of chihuahuas Gemma never barks!
Because Gemma was never treated properly she isn't fully inside toilet trained, she will go on the puppy pads though and we think in the right environment she will learn this skill quickly.
She likes all the kids in her foster home, ages from 2-11, she likes sitting with the oldest child on the couch.
She is great walking on the harness and in the car she will sit on the passenger seat or on a lap and travels well.
She is a small girl at only 3.7kg and loves to be carried around by her foster mum 💕

Adoption details
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal aswell.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption and if all goes well that same day, they can adopt on the spot and take home to begin the next chapter together.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed

The site is ran by volunteers who also have work commitments and families of their own.
