About Maximus
About Maximus “Max”
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Maximus "Max" is a sweet boy and his tail never stops wagging. He doesn't appear to be worried by other dogs and doesn't react when other dogs are barking. Not much is known about Max's background - he was a stray who ended up at the RSPCA and no-one claimed him. He LOVES food and loves his pats and cuddles. As Max just inhales his food it would be best to use either a slow feeding bowl or a slow feeding mat. He doesn't go much for toys but interactive treat toys keep him entertained and he's pretty good at getting to the treats!!
My Ideal Home:
My foster mum thinks I'm a pretty easy going boy and definitely not high maintenance. If I went to a forever home with young kids or older frail people I would need to be supervised as I'm pretty strong and might knock them over if I jumped up on them. Even though I'm an older boy I'm still strong and I only jump up when I'm excited which is normally when my foster mum comes home or it's meal time. As I don't really react to other dogs I'm sure I would be okay with having fur-siblings but obviously would need to meet them first. My ideal home would be where I am loved, looked after and cared for my in twilight years.
What is Known About My Background:
Unfortunately not a great deal is known about this handsome boy. Max was a stray and found himself at the RSPCA. He is micro-chipped but no-one came to collect him. When he came into care he was a bit skinny but it hasn't taken long for Max to put on weight as this boy loves his food!
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
As Max is a stocky and strong boy he would need to be supervised around young / small children just in case he accidently knocked them over. This is boy has such a sweet nature and isn't bothered by other dogs when out walking. If Max was going to home a with other animals he would need to be introduced to them to make sure they all got on.
