About Paddington ~ 4mo Border Collie X(On Trial 7/8/22)
Paddington is the most beautiful 15 week old Wolfhound x Border Collie puppy. I’ve fostered many puppies over the years and Paddington is a stand-out for his gentleness, high intelligence and easy-going nature.
Paddington is a sweet, calm natured puppy who is quick to learn and eager to please. During his short time in care; Paddington has been toilet trained, taught to sit patiently whilst he is waiting for his food and loves nothing more than to cuddle up with you on the lounge. He sleeps quietly through the night in his own bed and happily greets you in the morning with wet kisses.
Sometimes Paddington can be nervous when finding himself in new situations, but he simply needs a bit of calm reassurance and he quickly regains his confidence. He will need training on a lead, and ongoing socialisation with other furry playmates.
Paddington’s forever family will need to have an active lifestyle and understand that Paddington will need daily exercise and plenty of mental stimulation. As he loves his humans so much, he would need to be welcome inside the home and be very involved in all areas of his new family’s life. Paddington would do best with someone who is home most of the time because he would get stressed on his own. Paddington loves other dogs and would make a fantastic companion to another furry friend. Paddington is very gentle and loves little people, but he is going to grow to be a large dog so a home with children over the age of five years is necessary. Paddington’s new home will need good fencing that is five feet tall with no gaps to keep him safe. Unfortunately, rural fencing is not suitable.
If you are after a long legged, sweet natured, cuddly puppy then Paddington is the boy for you.
For more information on Paddington, please contact his foster carer on their email hollardlucy@gmail.com. Lucy is in foster care in Pokolbin, NSW. The adoption fee is $700 which includes all up to date vet work. Paddington is microchipped, vaccinated (adoption fee covers second vaccination), treated for fleas and worms and will be desexed as part of his adoption fee also..
As Paddington is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when he is approximately 5/6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.
