Stella ~ 4mo Border Collie X(On Trial 7/8/22)

Meet Stella, such a gentle, happy, loving girl. Stella is a beautiful 4 month old Border Collie x Wolfhound who would compliment any home.

Stella has the most gentle, placid nature & just loves laying on the lounge with her humans, having a wander outside or playing with her fur siblings. Stella is playful & enjoys zoomies & a wrestle with her two foster sibling doggos & when finished playing you will find her curled up on the lounge enjoying a nap.

Being a pup she does like to chew, so hide your shoes, so a chew toy is a good distraction & any toy that squeaks, especially her Mickey Mouse. She also loves a game of fetch & happily brings the ball back ready to chase again. Stella is social & friendly with other dogs & would love a home with another dog to play with & keep her company. Stella will greet her humans on arriving home from being out with tail wagging & lots of kisses, we are working on not jumping up.

Since being in care Stella has learnt how to sit, wait for food & responds well to treats. Toilet training is coming along nicely, still needs a bit of extra encouragement & she walks beautifully on a lead. Stella also sleeps through the night & often enjoys a little sleep in.
Being a young pup it is recommended she has puppy training & a committed family to help bring out the best in her to enable her to shine even brighter than she already does.
As Stella loves to be close to her humans & loves her naps on the lounge it would be preferable for her forever home to allow her access to inside when home.

Stella will need a large yard with secure fencing as she will be a medium to large dog.
Due to her gentle nature a family, including children, or active couple/single would suit this sweet girl. Due to her breed she would need regular exercise & mental stimulation. Stella gets along with other dogs, so would love a furry friend to play & snuggle with.

Her adoption fee is $700 which includes all up to date vet work. Stella is microchipped, vaccinated (adoption fee covers second vaccination), treated for fleas and worms and will be desexed as part of her adoption fee also.

As Stella is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when she is approximately 5/6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.
