About Kachina
Hi, I'm Kachina! I came into Waggin Tails care back in April after being caught as a stray kitten. When I arrived in care, I was very timid and scared of people. Thanks to the dedicated team at Waggin Tails, and my 2 amazing foster families, I have broken through my shell and am becoming a huge lovebug!
I am currently in foster care with several other cats, who I love to snuggle up to sleep with at night! I would love to go to a home with one of my foster siblings, or a home with a friendly calm cat to become best friends with!
I have met a few dogs in foster care, and whilst they do scare me a little bit with how many kisses they want to give me, I do not mind them. I could fit into a home with a small cat friendly dog!
I also have a little foster sister who absolutely loves to give me lots of treats and love, and also loves to involve me in her dress up games! I could get used to small calm children over the age of 6.
My foster mum says I am very tiny for my age, but I make up for it with my huge personality! Whilst I do love attention and cuddles, I do not like being picked up a lot, and prefer to ask for cuddles on my own terms. I love to steal the closest spot to the nice warm heater every night!

Adoption details
Our adoption process consists of:
- An adoption application questionnaire that will be emailed upon an enquiry if we deem your enquiry is suitable for that particular animal. Please read the description of our animals before making an enquiry.
- A meet and greet to ensure yourself and any existing animals are suitable for your chosen furry friend
- A house check to ensure your property is suitable. This my include physically coming to your house, a video call or photos.
- An adoption agreement to sign upon being approved for adoption. This includes a two week trial period to allow your new pet to settle into their new home.
- Please note we are purely volunteer run so sometimes it may take up to 7 business days for the team to get back to your enquiry and we will only contact you if we believe your enquiry is suitable.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
