About Meg
Meet Meg!
Meg is a beautiful female Rottweiler x who is 2 years old. Meg is an exceptionally sweet and affectionate girl. She adores people, is fantastic around other dogs, cats and other animals…slow controlled introductions are best as she can get quite excited meeting new friends. Meg walks well on the lead (better with a harness as she can pull more will a collar) and has great recall when off lead. Meg travels very well in the car.
Meg adores play time and will happily play fetch with her favourite ball or stick for hours. She plays extremely well with other dogs also.
Meg has great basic training and will sit, stay, wait for food until she is told she can eat, waits at door when told until invited inside, will sit before crossing the road when waking on lead and comes when called.
This sweet girl loves to snuggle and would happily be a lap dog if it wasn’t for her size. She gets along with men and women and has been around teenage children. She would be fine with younger kids but would need to be watch as she may knock them over due to her size.
Meg is looking for a home that can continue with her training and has plenty of time to spend with her. Despite having other dogs to play with, regular exercise and many enriching toys, She can be a little destructive at times with digging and chewing things she shouldn’t when left alone. Meg would benefit from a family or person who can be with her a lot eg: working from home, retired, can take her to work with them etc.
Meg is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, worm and flea treated and vet checked. Her adoption fee is $900.00.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
