About Tas
Tas is an 18 month old red and tan Kelpie male. He is a friendly boy who loves to be with you and is keen to find his new family to love and adore.
Tas has learnt some basic manners but will need his new family to be willing to put lots of time and effort in to make him the best boy his foster mum knows he could be. To begin with he can be reserved and quiet, but once he gets to know you he's got the biggest personality, he even talks a little. Tas loves games, and showing off. He walks with and without a lead very well.
Tas's ideal home wouldn't need a doggo companion so long as his new parents can spend a majority of the day with him. He wouldn’t mind having a doggy companion though and gets along well with other dogs. If his new home has children they would need to be older (10yrs+). A home without cats is a must for Tas.
As a typical working breed Tas will need lots of exercise and also mental stimulation during his day. His new parents will need to have a good understanding of working breed dogs and be willing to put in the time and effort to continue his training.
If Tas sounds like the boy for you, please send in an application today!
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
