About Rex
10 MONTHS IN CARE - MEET REX 🐶
"Woahh... You startled me! Well hello there, my name is Rex and I turn 3 years old next week.
You see, I am quite the love-bug. I enjoy snuggling up on the lounge with my favourite people watching your favourite shows! I'm not too fussy, I like reality TV shows, comedies and even cartoons. But I'm not into horror movies because the jump scares do make me jump!
I try to be modest but I have been told by many people that I am a handsome boy and a total sweetheart. Truth to be told, I just really love cuddles and to follow my humans around wherever you go. I love to play with my favourite people in the backyard and I equally enjoy playing with all the toys.
Now I am a little bit shy when I first meet new human friends. I'll get my body low and show you my big, adorable eyes. And I'll be quiet and a bit unsure. But with the help of some dog cookies and a loving voice, I'll soon figure out that you are a friend, and hopefully my forever family.
The expert people at AWL NSW have said that I would benefit from an owner who is happy to continue my ongoing training and socialisation as I am quite nervous outside the home. But I am a fast learner and I have been quickly learning new tricks! I have a few little quirks so my new humans will need to be willing to continue my training, particularly when I am outside the home.
I would be best suited as the only pet as I adore soaking up all the attention there is to provide in the home. If there are little humans involved, I'd prefer for older kids and kids who are able to assist with my ongoing training needs. And I also wouldn't mind playing with the humans in the backyard. If I sound like I might be a good fit for your home, have your people call my people." - love Rex
