Canelle -Desexed and Vaccinated *Special Needs*

Canelle (on hold) came to us from the pound. He is only a baby, but so very friendly and snuggly. He has a blue eye and the prettiest face, and is always hopping over to be near us and get some head and ear rubs!

canelle's adoption fee includes desexing and vaccination. Canelle is not currently available for adoption. He will need to be assessed by our vet, as the back feet are very splayed. Update 18. 12. 10: canelle is only a very young baby and will grow to be a huuuuge bunny. His splayed legs are due to his ankles dislocating and has damaged ligaments. This is probably caused by being malnourished, and he will need a special diet we can advise upon to new adoptive parents. It is unknown whether he will ever completely recover, and due to the large size and weight he will need constant monitoring to make sure he stays comfortable. It is really distressing that such a lovely and affectionate boy could have suffered the neglect he survived before ending up at the pound. We hope there is someone willing to take him on and give him quality time while he has it. He's only a baby and life has not been fair on him so far. If there is no adoptive family he will live out his life in rescue, until such time that he becomes distressed by the condition. We will be setting up a fund for canelle.
