About Winnie
Winnie is a Wolfhound x sweetheart born 16th September 2021.
Winnie is a lovely young lady who loves nothing more than spending time with people. She can get a bit boisterous and jumpy at times, so a home with older children would be beneficial for her so she can’t accidentally knock little ones over. In saying that, she is highly ball focused and very eager to please (she already knows how to sit, shake, lay down and roll over). With continued training she will soon know she's not allowed to jump up in excitement.
Winnie was a bit unsure when we introduced her to other dogs and wasn't sure how to behave. Even though she's a big girl, she's still a puppy and believe she could learn to get along and play with other dogs with more socialising and training.
Winnie was very scared of cats at the facility so we are recommending she go to a home with no existing feline friends.
Winnie has shown no signs of separation anxiety at the facility so we believe she would be fine being left alone during the day.
Winnie is such a loving girl and wants nothing more than a home she can call her own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Winnie, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Winnie’s adoption fee is $450, and this includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration and she is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Winnie is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
