Hi, my names Scarlett,
When I first came to the facility I was pretty out of my comfort zone, and it took me some time to settle in after taking in my surroundings. I love treats and the staff here are really nice, so I quickly warmed up to them.
They quickly learnt that I know how to sit and shake, so now this is part of my daily routine. I love going for a slow, easy walk with my favourite people, and genuinely enjoy being around people that I trust.
True to my guardian breed, I am steady and loyal with a propensity to protect my property and its inhabitants. I’m a vigilant and noble dog with a deep bark and an unwavering commitment to my chosen person. Due to this, it’s essential that I go to a home with an owner who has had previous experience with my breed, or mastiff/ molosser type dogs.
I will need a firm and experienced handler that can give me loving guidance to become the best dog I can be. If you have older kids I’m happy to meet them. I don’t mind other dogs when I see them, but don’t like them in my space so I’d prefer to be the only dog in the house, I love being the centre of attention.
I would love a house of my own, with a large secure backyard for me to sunbake. I do enjoy my time alone, so I would be suitable to live with full time workers provided I am given daily stimulation, so I don’t get up to my own mischief, you see!
True to my breed, I can be a little aloof when meeting new people, so it’s important my owners are aware of this for the future.
As I’m a slightly older gal, my adoption fee has been reduced. I’m also desexed and ready to go home with you today, so what are you waiting for?
