About Luna
Introducing Luna, a beautiful American Staffy x born 11th January 2019.
Luna loves nothing more than spending time with people & other dogs. Luna can get a bit pushy with her snuggles but all she wants is to be held and loved.
Luna has got some prey drive, so she is not suitable to live with cats & pocket pets.
Luna is can be very playful and happy with other dogs (both large & small adults and puppies), however she can get annoyed with dogs who are too boisterous and in her face. If you have another friendly, playful dog already in the family, please remember to bring them along with you for a meet and greet to ensure everyone gets along fine before heading home to live together.
Luna walks quite well on lead, but she can get a little excited around people, so we do recommend continued training with loose leash walking.
Luna seems to be quite good when left alone as long as she has another dog for company. A home with full-time workers would be fine for her as long as she has another dog at home.
Luna is such a loving young lady and she wants nothing more than a home she can call her own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Luna, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Luna's adoption fee is $200. This includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registrations. She is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Luna is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
