About Mr Gibbs
Meet the gentle giant, Mr Gibbs.
With his striking brindle fur, puppy dog eyes and beautiful gentle nature, Mr Gibbs wins over everyone he meets. At 9 months old, Mr Gibbs does still have some growing to do despite already being quite a big boy. He is calm, friendly, has great manners and already knows the basics such as sit and stay. Mr Gibbs has shown to be very dog friendly and has been living with another dog in foster care. He enjoys a good puppy play, rolling around the garden, followed by a nice long nap on his bed.
He does love spending time with his humans but hasn’t shown any issues when left for short periods. A daily walk will keep him in good shape and while he does pull a little at the start, once he gets over the initial excitement of going on a walk he settles beautifully.
Mr Gibbs is currently on a diet of high quality puppy food and eats approximately a kilo a day. Any potential adopter will need to be prepared for this.
As a very large dog, while he is very calm and well mannered, he may not be suitable for a home with small children who may get knocked over by a gently wagging tail.
Mr Gibbs is a South African Mastiff and can grow to 90kg.
Medical notes
Mr Gibbs is a very healthy man. He came into care with a cut on his leg but this is healing very well.
Mr Gibbs has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.
