About Saxon
This handsome athletic boy is Saxon, SCAR's resident high flying, nose following, super social, labrador.
Saxon's special skill is carrying multiple toys in his mouth at once while making everyone smile. He has a great nose and loves to use it, but loves food and games even more, so thrives with training games.
Saxon is an up-and-go boy but has a great off switch once his exercise is over. He loves playing chasey with his favourite people and is learning how to snuggle after a long day's play.
Saxon's best attributes are that he is fantastically easy to entertain, especially when his favourite dog friend is involved. He has great social skills with other dogs and loves people - sometimes too much as he does enjoy a good crash-tackle greeting on occasion.
Saxon is looking for a home with another young, energetic dog, and a person or family who is keen to engage his brain and win his heart... that last part isn't hard when you have treats in your pocket!
Saxon's adoption includes a 1 hour 1-1 session here at SCAR with our trainer.

**Application Process** When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Craigieburn. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you. www.secondchanceanimalrescue.com.au ...because they all deserve one!
