About Roxy
Meet Roxy! A crazy fun loving girl with loads of love to give! Roxy is a total Sweetheart.
Roxy loves her people and once she gets to know them, she adores a belly rub! She loves to chase her foster dog sisters around or play 3-way tug-of-war with them.
Roxy is crate and toilet trained and walks well on the lead. She will stick close to you until she's sure about her new surroundings, she'll greet most people by jumping all over them and trying to kiss their cheek!
She is a little worried by strange loud noises but calms quickly if given plenty of encouragement.
Roxy loves her foster sisters and would do well with a friendly, playful brother or sister dog in her new home.
She can get quite jumpy when she's happy and excited, her foster family have been working on this, but probably no young children because of this. Roxy currently lives with older kids aged 11 & 12 in her foster home who adore her.
Did we mention Roxy loves to love!? She will shower you with kisses and cuddles and lots of bouncy fun!
Roxy says she would like to live in a cat-free home.
Roxy's adoption fee includes a 1-1 session with our trainer here at SCAR, to help her settle in to your home
**Application Process** When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Craigieburn. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you. www.secondchanceanimalrescue.com.au ...because they all deserve one!
