About Winx
Winx is a beautiful cross-eyed 2 year old American Staffy x.
Winx is a sweet young lady who loves nothing more than spending time with people. She can get a bit boisterous and jumpy at times, so a home with older children would be beneficial for her so she can’t accidentally knock little ones over.
Our testing has shown that Winx doesn't like other dogs and can be reactive towards them. Being a big, strong girl she can be quite strong on the lead, so she will need to go to a home with an experienced owner who can continue her loose lead and reactivity training.
Winx showed no interest in cats at the facility, however we do recommend a slow and controlled introduction to any existing cats in your home to ensure they get along.
Winx does show slight signs of separation anxiety so she will need to be rehomed to a family where she has company a lot of the time. She loves humans so much and is eager to please, so we believe she will be quite easy to train in the right environment.
Winx is such a loving girl and wants nothing more than a home she can call her own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Winx, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Winx’s adoption fee is $450, and this includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Winx is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Winx is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
