Hi! I'm PRINCE and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.

NOTE: You are unable to meet Prince until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Prince in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• I can be shy at first with new people and in new environments so will require a family who will take their time allowing me to settle in and continue with my socialization
• I am scared of thunder & fireworks and I will require a safe space to retreat to during these events as well as comfort and reassurance from my family.
• SOCIALISATION is as important for me as it appears I've led a very sheltered life and can be a bit nervous/shy in new situations. Since being at the shelter I'm becoming much braver though. Taking me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman etc) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will help boost my confidence
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation but you will need to teach me how to play. I am unsure of squeaky toys and not sure what to do with a ball.
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• I MUST go to a home with another dog as i suffer from seperation anxiety when left alone.
• I didn’t show much interest in cats when meeting them at the shelter however once my confidence around them grows I might be more inquisitive. If going to a home with a cat they must be dog savvy, and we must be introduced slowly.

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Small children due to being bouncy
• No small animals, as I may think it fun to chase them

My best features:
• Wiggle butt
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• Love to snooze on the couch

Where I need to improve / Training required:
It appears i haven't had any training so will require all basic training although i am a generally well mannered boy.
