About Daisy
🌼 Daisy 🌼
Daisy is a beautiful, sweet little kitten who came into care as a tiny newborn with her siblings and Mumma Sage. She has thrived with the right care and is now ready for her forever home.
We expect Daisy to be popular with adopters with her medium length tabby fur, and her easygoing, snuggly nature.
Daisy loves a good nap in front of the fire place, or even better sitting right on top of you. She loves to play and explore, and even enjoys a good snuggle with the dog!
Daisy doesn’t like missing out on meal time, she’ll make sure you know it’s time to be fed!
She is good with kids, cats and dogs, so really, will fit with most families and homes!
If you’d like to meet Daisy please complete the adoption enquiry below.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via shellys.place.rescue@gmail.com. Please tell us about the home you are able to offer including:
- number of adults living in the home
- number of children and their ages
- number and species of pets and their ages
- whether you rent or own your home and the property type (house, townhouse, unit)
- if you have approval to own pets in your home e.g. strata, rental agreement
- why you are looking to adopt
- will the animal be an inside pet, outside pet or both
- have you found a specific cat or kitten you would like to apply for.
Please remember to include contact information including a phone number.
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
