About Snoops
If you are interested in Snoops, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/RmFiJ9YRFnWzexrNA
Hi there. I’m Snoops, or you can call me a Snoopdog 😏 I’m 3yo, recently retired from racing and now fully enjoying my life as a pet with my foster parents and greyhound sister.
Retired life is great. I would like to think that the world is my oyster. I live in the city and am really fascinated about everything city life has to offer. I like to meet new people and dogs, going on a long walks and sniffaries. And I find bin chickens and trucks extremely interesting.
Currently I live an apartment and I’m pretty comfortable with apartment living. I’m house trained and well behaved. I get along with my greyhound sister very nicely. And I don’t mind meeting any other dog breeds as long as they are nice to me.
I looove people of all sizes, but I think for a safety reasons I would prefer family with older kids who can survive my kiss attacks. Oh yes, I’m very affectionate and will try to kiss you at any opportunity. I’ll ask for all the kisses and pats I can get and then some more. And I would like to sleep in bed with you if I'm allowed.
You would think that such an affectionate boy will have a hard time when left alone, but actually I’m pretty self sufficient, I just snooze my day away when left alone.
I’m still young and full of energy so if you want to go on a long walk or a hike I’m all up for it! . My foster parents also say that I’m perfect on the lead. And they do enjoy my little dance every time I do my business on the grass.
I do suffer from sleep startle and this is why I better go in a home without little kids. The humans say that it might go away with time, but for now, I better sleep away from everyone, just in case I get startled!
I’ve never met cats or pocket animals so I don’t know how I feel about them.
Oh did I mention that I can sit? And I’m extremely food motivated which makes my training very easy.
Does it sound to good to be true? Well you will better believe it.
I’m sure that my perfect family is somewhere here. All I ask for is a loving people who can provide me with unlimited pats and comfy couch.
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. We need to know more about you and your home to find the best possible match.
