About 🌼Daisy🌼
PLEASE READ DAISY’S ENTIRE PROFILE BEFORE APPLYING
Daisy is a precious soul who deserves the very best home possible 🥰This sweet four year old girl loves to play, especially when you get out the laser or cat wands. She would love a home where she gets dedicated playing time before lots of cuddles on the couch. She also would love a home where she is able to sleep in the bed, even if she likes to hog the covers. Daisy needs a home with spaces that allow her to get up high as this is her favourite place to be. A scratcher or two in a window would be perfect so that she can enjoy the solitude of being inside while watching the hustle and bustle of the outdoors.
While in foster care Daisy has met some cats for the first time since she was a kitten. She has tolerated them as long as they have given her space and she may learn to co-exist with another proven cat-friendly cat if she is introduced properly. Daisy has previously lived happily with dogs so a cat-friendly dog in her new home would be fine or she would be very happy in a home where she is the only pet too.
While Daisy is not a diva, she is a high-maintenance girl who must have regular professional grooming. This is a non-negotiable condition of Daisy’s adoption as her coat is unmanageable on her own. Due to her past she is not okay with her people managing it for her, although she doesn’t mind a brush when she’s in the mood. This will mean that her coat needs to be kept quite short at all times to ensure she isn’t in pain from matted fur. Her crazy scientist whiskers also need the occasional snip to stop them from poking into her eyes and causing ulcers.
Daisy has grown up in a home with young kids and would be okay to live with them again as long as they are respectful of her boundaries and space when she needs it. However, she would be more than happy in an all-adult home that is able to give her love and affection when she wants it.
While in care with us Daisy has had a dental procedure and now has only two remaining teeth. The good news is this doesn’t stop her from eating all the yummy food her foster mumma gives her. Her preferences are for dry food but will occasionally munch down some wet food when she’s in the mood.
Daisy is in care in Longwarry North and applicants must be prepared to travel to meet her in her foster home.

Medical notes
Daisy medically requires regular hair cuts to keep her coat short and manageable.
She cannot be allow to suffer with knots and mats that will absolutely occur should she not be kept in a short, well brushed coat.
Daisy is desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations and parasite treatment. Due to her breeding, she has required major dental work and only has 2 remaining teeth. We recommend getting these precious little pegs vet checked annually and scaled and polished as required, to give her the best chance of holding onto them!
