Steve is perfect 🥰

He started life as a premature baby abandoned by his mother and, after being hand-raised, he is the sweetest little guy you'll ever meet.

After he gets tuckered out from playing he will hunt you down, lick your face until he’s decided you’re clean and snuggle into your neck for a nap. He loves to be held upside down in your arms like a baby and have his little toe beans gently massaged while he sleeps. He sleeps mostly through the night but you might wake to find him licking you in the early hours. If you bring him under the covers for a cuddle he will usually go back to sleep.

After being raised as a big part of the family (including trips to his foster mums office) he is fearless. Completely unafraid of dogs, kids and household appliances, Steve will fit in with most family situations and would happily live with respectful children of all ages. As a social butterfly he will thrive in an environment where he has another cat or a cat-friendly dog to play with. As he has no fear of anything you’ll need to have him as an indoor-only cat or have a secure cat run for safe outdoor play.

Steve must have another cat in his new home to keep him company while his people are away. He would make a fantastic companion cat and we know that there is someone in our Squishies family looking for a cracker of a cat. Black cats can get a bad rap as being unlucky due to superstitions… but we promise you that whoever gets to adopt Steve is definitely the luckiest person in the world.

Steve is in care in Tynong North and applicants must be prepared to travel to meet him in his foster home.
