Lulu is pleased to meet you!

Lulu is a special girl with special needs and requires a special family.

She is highly suited to a calm and quiet household as she is noise sensitive and can get startled by quick and sudden movements. Please provide her a safe haven/safe place where she can retreat to whenever she is feeling afraid or unsure. Lulu is most comfortable being indoor and spending time with her family.

She is most happiest living in a household with no children under the age of 12 as she can be uncomfortable with touch and will tend to avoid when being touched too much. Lulu will need her family to understand her signals and let her move away when she feels uncomfortable.

Lulu is sweet and friendly towards humans but she can be cautious around new people. Please allow her to meet all family members and slowly introduce her to individuals while observing her behaviour to see whether she is comfortable with the interaction.

Lulu is shy when meeting new dogs and is better matched with a calm and gentle dog around the same size as she is. Please slowly introduce her to new doggy friends while observing our behaviour to see whether we are both comfortable with the interaction.

If you have a dog at home that is gentle and calm, please speak to our staff to organise a match-up to see whether their energy levels are compatible and if they can be the best of friends.

Lulu requires an experienced dog owner that can understand her body language and knows what to do when she feels uncomfortable or avoidant. She needs a family that can read her signals and respect her boundaries.
