Candy is a beautiful, sweet and loyal girl that just wants to be part of the family. She is a confident dog and loves being around people and kids.

She is 9 years old, but don’t let her age put you off! She is very healthy, energetic and absolutely full of life, daily walks will keep her happy. She loves soft toys and will happily burn off energy chasing after tennis balls! She walks well on a lead.

Candy is well trained already and knows lots of commands. She is food motivated and responds very well to ‘come here’ and has good recall already, but may benefit from some specific training with her new owner. Candy doesn't like to share food or have other dogs around her food - but this can easily be managed by feeding her away from other dogs.

Candy sleeps in her closed crate at night and you will not hear a peep from her until the morning. Candy will bark when excited and when she wants your attention (or when her ball rolls away from her) but has settled well into the family home.

Candy would be best suited to a home with adopters that are home most of the the time. She will try to escape if left alone (generally digging under fences) so it is recommended that she is crated or kept inside if being left alone.

Candy is $200 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated, heartworm checked and given flea, tick and worm preventatives.
