About As sweet as Peaches <3
Hi there, I'm Peaches. I was left behind when my previous humans moved away without me. I was doing ok taking care of myself for a while but then a car ran over me and broke my leg into a million pieces. I won't put a pic of my xray here but it's pretty narly 😳
Luckily a nice human found me and took me to get help! I let the humans do what they needed to do and when I woke up my bad leg was gone. I'm learning to get around without it but I'm not into lots of activity these days, I'm happy just chilling with you getting pats 😼
In my new home I'd really love to spend time with you. If you are retired, semi retired or work from home then you're perfect for me. I'd really like a quiet home with 1 or 2 adults, no children, no dogs and no other cats. I just want my own place, my own place with you where I can be patted and loved again. 💗 I don't like too much noise or bright lights but I'm not a scardie cat, I have gotten startled a couple of times whilst I have been with my foster mum, I just went into my bed for some time to recoup if you know what I mean.
I might be timid at the start and will need you to be patient with me but once I get to know you I will love it when we are together, I love adult human company! I'm also happy to entertain myself in my room, either in my bed or lying on something comfy. I have recently discovered toys and am learning to play with them. I love looking out the window but please don't let me go outside, I need to be inside with you where I know I am safe and loved. My favourite thing is getting soft, gentle pats and rubbing my head against your hand. My foster mum tells me I have a lovely purr and calls me a little love bug. I love my food, especially my wet food and I have good toileting manners. My fur is medium length which means I will need some help from you to keep it in good condition, so I'll need a gentle brush every couple of days.
Thankyou for reading this little advert I've written. If you're looking for an affectionate, easy going guy who has lots of love to give, I'm the man for you 😍
Bye for now.
Peaches
Medical notes
Peaches has 3 legs due to a recent amputation after he was found with a badly broken leg. He is still learning to navigate minus a leg but we anticipate will be fully mobile within weeks and won't have any problems ongoing :)

💕 ABOUT OUR WORK WITH CATS:
We run a donation funded shelter in semi-rural Avalon, that was previously used for dog breeding. When we took ownership of the property, our hard working volunteers spent many months transforming the building into a bright and colourful environment featuring 7 large, fully enclosed pens capable of housing 8 wild-born cats. We take in full cat colonies, pregnant and nursing mothers, ophan kittens, FIV positive cats, and sick or injured cats. Cats are humanely trapped after being identified as un-owned; we don't take in domesticated cats and have extensive processes to ensure cats trapped are true strays as opposed to owned. We don't give cats deadlines to be socialised by or they'll be euthanised, we provide sanctuary for them for as long as they need.
💕 CAN YOU HELP US?
As a small team without government or corporate funding, our services are in constant demand and our resources stretched. You can donate directly to the animal in this profile by clicking the pink DONATE button on this page, or contact us if you'd like to sponsor a street cat's rehab and housing which usually takes one year minimum but more often longer.
