Peppa

This handsome pup is PEPPA, a sweet-natured and highly affectionate male Irish Wolfhound x Blue Cattle Dog born 24 March 2022.

Peppa is basically a "mini" Wolfhound. He currently weighs 9.7 kgs, so we're guessing he'll end up being much smaller and shorter than the typical Wolfie.

He has the blue and black coat and the double mask of the cattle dog, but his wiry coat and whiskers, ears and head shape are very much Wolfhound.

Peppa settled into his new foster home as if he'd always lived there and has won a firm place in the heart of his foster family and fur sister, Miranda, who appears in one of the photos.

He's a cheerful and active puppy who loves nothing more than a cuddle on the lap of his favourite humans. He is well on the way to being toilet-trained. He sleeps through the night and loves being an inside-outside dog. He's never met a dog he doesn't love.

Peppa would make a delightful companion for an individual, couple or family.

To help Peppa reach his full potential, we're looking for a committed owner who is around most of the time and who's happy to teach Peppa all the things that a puppy needs to learn to live his best life. Prior experience with Wolfies and/or Cattle Dogs will be well regarded. As always, secure fencing is a must.

His adoption fee is $850 and he is desexed, vaccinated, flea and worm treated, and microchipped.
