Peach

Hi, my name is Peach, and I am the softest, most gentle girl that you’ll ever meet.
I am a beautiful grey cat (just look at my photos!), who is super low maintenance. Although I would like you to play with me with a cat teaser/wand, during the day I am happy to play by myself with a little mouse and chill in one of my cat trees. I don’t require a lot of space and am quite content to be in a small, indoor only, space - so long as there is a comfy cat tree with a good view. I won’t disturb you when you work or wake you up for food either. I'm a sweet, trust worthy but independent companion who will always be there to listen.

Peach came to us as a captured stray and being terrified of humans. Over time, she has learned to not be so scared of humans, particularly hands. Peach is still a little shy and so sometimes her old fears can be triggered if humans move too quickly towards her, particularly when standing up. She prefers it when her humans are sitting down and hold out their hand for her to sniff. Once she sniffs her humans, she will give their hand a little head-but to let them know they can proceed to patting heaven. With some nice chin and butt scratches, she will often then go into loved-up mode and rub her chin on everything while purring.

Although Peach is still more comfortable around other cats, she loses a lot of her confidence, and will take longer to get to know her humans, for this reason we would love for Peach to be in a pet free home to be the centre of her universe and truely bond with her new person. Once she feels safe and confident with her environment, she will come out of her shell to be the most rewarding and sweet companion. Similarly, with Peach thriving in quieter spaces we feel a home without younger children would be suitable at this time.

Peach would love to find a forever home where her humans will take the time to bond with her, play with her and slowly build a relationship (treats are a big help for her hehe).
