8 year old Star originally came into care 80 years ago (by her reckoning anyway) from the mean old streets, with a few kids in tow, dad long gone, and not a human in sight to pat her head and tell her she was pretty.

Star spent her first few weeks in care hiding in a cupboard, which is either really sad or a very committed Harry Potter LARP. Since then though, she has rediscovered her inner child, and loves playing with toys, yelling for snacks, and just generally being loveable despite doing a whole lotta nothin every day.

Star is still fairly timid, and would benefit from a quiet home and family who will let her do her cat lady-thang without being offended that she might not wanna be besties right away. In the right home she will likely continue to come out of her shell. And you get to tell all your friends that you rescued a senior cat because your heart is truly made of gold.

Star is available to a loving family who will appreciate her uh, ‘alternative’ beauty and no-fuss personality. She would be best with older kids (above 12) and no other indoor pets.
