G'day I'm Max,

I'm full of puppy energy and love to play either on my own or with you. Currently I'm living with another dog, and we have so much fun together I follow him round like a shadow. I like to snuggle in next to you and have a cuddle whenever the opportunity allows. And I'm learning to sit, my foster mum says I'm very food motivated which is making teaching me things easy. I'm good with little people.

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I'd like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I've learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I'll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me ""no"" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. I'd love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don't get bored with them.
