Zeus

Our mixed breed boy Zeus is ready to start the search to find his loving forever family.

Zeus is a real mix of breeds - Jack Russell, Kelpie, possibly Dacshund due to his long body. We don't know his exact breeds but what we do know about Zeus is that he is a fellow that loves human company and requires secure fencing.

Zeus' personality is just starting to shine in his foster placement and he is just starting to play with toys. Zeus has an estimated birth date of 6 July 2018.

Zeus weighs around 11 kilograms so fits in our small dog category. Zeus has been flea and worm treated, fully vaccinated, microchipped and desexed.

Zeus is great with the two small dogs he is in foster care with. He still gets a little startled by loud noises so would be best in a quieter home. Zeus is still getting the hang of his toilet training. If the doggy door flap is up he will use it but he does not like the sound of the doggy door if the flap is down - noise related. For some reason Zeus is very noise sensitive.

The type of home we have assessed as the best match for Zeus is;
✅️ Indoor/Outdoor arrangement.
✅️ An owner/owners committed to continue to work on the toilet training and basic training. Zeus still jumps upon people when excited.
✅️ A quieter household - so no busy, loud noise households.
✅️ Respectful, quiet and gentle children would be fine. No infants or toddlers.
❌️ No senior unstable on your feet people. Zeus may inadvertantly trip you over.
✅️ Secure Fencing is a must.
✅️ Home a reasonable amount of time. Part time workers is fine, but Zeus would not enjoy being home alone 8 hours a day x 5 days a week.
✅️ Another social dog would be good for Zeus. He is starting to play and do his zoomies.
✅️ Can afford Zeus's $700 adoption fee and have the financial capacity to feed, care and maintain his vet needs for the remainder of his life.
