About Teddy ~ 4mo Kelpie X Border (On Trial 13/8/22)
Meet the most beautiful and affectionate pup Teddy. Teddy is 4 months old, cross breed with beautiful Kelpie nose. Teddy's mother was a kelpie x border collie and his father was bull arab x wolfhound.
Although Teddy was a little timid and nervous when he came into care, he has since blossomed into happy and affectionate pup. Teddy is very smart and easy to train, he sleeps in his crate through the night, toilet training is going really well, he already knows how to sit, come and is learning to wait for his food.
Teddy loves being inside with his family but is also happy to play outside and enjoy his naps in the sun for long period of time. Being still very young, we recommend puppy training or committed ongoing training to ensure that his basic manners blossom to amazing manners as he gets older.
Being a working breed background, Teddy will need to lead an active and exciting lifestyle, he needs to be included in all family fun and adventures. Teddy will suit an active family who enjoy outdoors and will want to take him on their adventures.
Teddy is very affectionate and must be allowed to come inside to spend time with the family, he enjoys TV, dinner conversations, lots of cuddles and just being near you. Teddy is in foster care with 11 year old male pug, 5 year old female foxy cross, he interacts well with both of them and is very playful and friendly.
Teddy's perfect forever home would include:
- A nice big yard with 5-6ft fencing
- Another fur sibling to run, cuddle and play with or relatives with dogs so he can have regular play dates
-Children over 5 years old who love dogs, Teddy is a playful pup who may accidentally knock young children over in his excitement
-A family, couple or single who are active and understand the requirements of having a working breed dog in their home
-Home with access to indoors where Teddy could cuddle up to you
As Teddy is not yet desexed or had all his vaccinations, he is only available for adoption to Sydney, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he will need to be returned for this vet work to be done. Please NO out of area applications, as they will not be replied to.

Teddy is in foster care in Caves Beach, Lake Macquarie NSW and is not available for adoption interstate. Teddy's adoption fee is $700 which includes all up to date vet work.
