About Spook
Howdy, I am Spook, a female black and tan kelpie. I have been told I am around 8 years old but I don’t feel that old. The vet says I am in great shape and I still have a spring in my step. I am not a big dog, weighing only around 15 kgs. If you ask me to describe myself I would say: wise, gentle and loyal.
I love being with my people and I want all the pats and cuddles. I am polite when I meet other dogs but would prefer a home where I am the only dog so I get all the attention.
If you can give me walk a day, a warm comfy bed, a large garden or acreage and a home to call my own, I will give my unconditional loyalty. I love a good snuggle at the end of the day. My foster Mum tells me I am a great companion because I follow her everywhere.
I am house and crate trained, have excellent recall and walk well on lead. I will sit on command and have been working on waiting for food and going to and staying on a bed.
I sleep quietly all night in my crate until someone lets me out in the morning. I am not keen on going in during the day so I convinced my foster Mum just to leave me in the house yard when she goes out. Sometimes she leaves me in her study in the house if the weather is bad. Either way I am a good girl.
Just one little thing, I can’t live with cats or pocket pets. I go into the chicken pen with my foster Mum but she says she wouldn’t trust me in there alone. Fair enough I say!
If I sound like the dog for you, please complete the adoption form today! I can’t wait for a home of my own.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
