Sheiva

Sheiva is such a gorgeous girl. She is so kind and loving. She can be nervous to see you at first and shy's little but quiet and patient and she soon is leaning on your leg adoringly.

Shiva is a smaller size Mastiff cross only weighing in at 27 kilos so she's just a med size girl

She has been in foster care with other dogs and school age children and has been a sweetheart

Sheiva was a little skittish when she arrived and very skinny but she is now thriving

TRAVEL IN THE CAR.

Sheiva loved going in the car. She was a

a little nervous at first but with a reassuring pat and kind words she settled down and was comfortable.

FOOD

Sheiva has been having a diet of dry ivory coat puppy food with prime roll and has no trouble eating it up. She also likes an antler to chew on and doesn't mind a bit of your food either.

We have had her on puppy food as she was very underweight when she arrived but has not started transition to adult as her weight is now great

OUTSIDE

Sheiva is an access all areas pup. If left outside while you're inside she will bark to get your attention. She knows how to sit and shake and she's happy with a little pat.Sheiva has not been destructive in the house while left home

VISITORS.

Sheiva will bark to let you know someone is visiting, and if she can see you through the window when she's outside, she will bark to let them know SHE is there and would like a pat.

She is great with kids and other dogs and loves affection.

We have not had her around cats

ENRICHMENT

Sheiva likes to lay on her day bed outside, or the couch and floor pillows inside. She loves her rope toys and balls and playing with her fur foster brother.

INDEPENDENCE

Sheiva is happy to stay at home with her foster brother. She sleeps inside on the couch or her foster sister's bed. Shiva is definitely suited to a home with a BFF dog or a family that are home more often than not

WALKS

On the lead, Sheiva happily walks with you with encouragement. She forms a great bond and trusts that you are her person.

OBEDIENCE

Sheiva can sit and stay on her bed. She is a fast learner and with time and training she will be an amazing dog. She wants to please you and she loves attention.

INSIDE

Sheiva loves snuggles on the couch. She loves to be patted. She sometimes has accidents inside if she can't access outside.

DOG SOCIALIZATION

Sheiva is currently in care with another dog and loves playing with him. There is also a bird, she was curious at first but hasn't given it a second thought.

She is a playful girl.

SLEEPING HABITS

Sheiva sleeps with her foster sister. She sleeps through the night and is very settled.

TOILETING

Sheiva comes in and out freely most of the day. We don't have a doggy door but we leave the door open for both the dogs to come in and out as needed.

Outside all toileting has been on the grass and never on the concrete.

IDEAL HOME

We believe Sheiva deserves a home with a yard to run and play in and An outside spot to stay dry and warm.

A home with a secure yard who will allow Sheiva to have access to the home

A home with another dog is definitely preferred and we would be seeking a loving and gentle but playful med to large male who is very well socialized

Sheiva is fine to be left at home while her family are at work but we think her having a dog companion keeps her settled

She would be great with another dog or person who is home more often than not

Because she is nervous at first until she settles in we would be seeking a home with school age children who are dog experienced and kind if their are children in the residence

An active family who would like to involve their new fur family member would see Sheiva thrive.

Sheiva is an absolute pleasure to be around and will make an amazing addition to any family.
