About Bailey
Bailey's personality:
Bailey is a sweet, shy 4 year old black and tan Australian Kelpie, whose favourite thing in the world is fetch. She would happily chase a ball for hours on end. Bailey loves pats and affection - she will tell you exactly when she needs a little bit of extra loving and will return it all with Kelpie kisses and hugs. This beautiful, energetic girl will steal your heart when she looks at you with pleading eyes to please throw her ball!
Bailey’s ideal forever home:
Bailey would be best suited in a home where she has lots of space to run and with a family who has the time to meet her exercise needs. She has never met a cat before so she may be a bit confused as to what the fluffy creature is; but is comfortable around dogs of all sizes. Bailey is a little bit timid so a slow introduction to any current dogs in the home would be required. Bailey has been around young children before and is very gentle, she is also great with older children. Above all else, Bailey would just love her forever home to have lots of time to include her on special trips and adventures.
Bailey’s story:
Bailey grew up with her Kelpie brother Harvey and they used to live rurally but since a recent move into town, they really struggled to adapt and cope with the change. They are very well loved by their family, but unfortunately the hard decision to rehome them had to be made so that they can have the exercise and attention they deserve. Bailey is now available for adoption as a single dog and is currently staying at Sweet Pea Animal Rescue.
If you think you can give this gorgeous girl her perfect forever home, please fill out an adoption questionnaire today! Her adoption fee is $400 and contributes towards all care and treatments to date.
Medical notes
Bailey is desexed and is up to date with vaccinations and preventative treatments for flea, ticks and worms. She is a healthy and energetic young girl.
