About Sam
The very handsome Sam has had a little bit of a tough time recently, but is ready to turn over a new leaf and put himself out there to find his new home.
As Sam is quite unsure when meeting new people, he will need a patient owner who will let him go at his own pace. They will need to be willing to do multiple meets with him at the shelter in order for him to become comfortable with them.
He can be easily startled, so a quiet, adult-only home is needed for him to be able to settle so he can become the carefree dog he deserves to be.
Although he is fine to be left alone, Sam will bond very strongly to one or two people, and would like to be with them a lot of the time. He also wouldn’t mind having another doggy companion to keep him company. A confident and well-socialized, calm dog would make the best friend for Sam to help build his confidence.
