The lovely Almond, what a big ole smooch he is! Almond’s main goal in life is to obtain as many cuddles with his human as he possibly can. This big snuggly boy gets along great with other greyhounds but has shown interest to his foster homes kitty cat so will need a home that has no kitties.

Almond can get a bit clingy with his human and isn’t a big fan of being left alone for long periods of time, ideally, we can find him a home where his people are home a lot of the time. Almond has shown mild reactivity to other dogs out on the lead (appears to be fear driven) but once he has said hello he seems to calm back down again.

Walkies are a favourite of this lovely big boy, he may be a little older than the others, but he still has a whole lot of love and joy ready to share with the lucky humans that get to call him their own.

He would be suited to almost any housing situation, he is quite good at letting you know he needs to go to the toilet and so long as he had regular walks he would be fine in an apartment. Even though Almond is a Greenhound approved doggo, he will still need to remain on his lead at all times while out and about as he doesn’t have the best recall ever! I would recommend avoiding dog parks in the early days of him adjusting to his new life and new family.

If you’re looking for a greyhound that will glue himself to you and become your shadow, this is your guy. Almond won’t take long to fall in love with his new human, he’s pretty easy to win over with a cuddle on the bed and some big scritches!
