Stanley

Poor Stanley has had quite the shock suddenly finding himself in a shelter and surrounded by cats and humans after a solitary life was all he had known.
He was very scared and was shut down for quite some time, too afraid to move more than he had to.
Fortunately both for us and for Stanley, he is extremely food motivated, and so we started a long journey of bribery with treats to bring down his walls.
Although he still has a little ways to go, Stanley has come leaps and bounds from his past self and is now learning to enjoy company and pats.
Stanley will need an experienced cat owner who is willing to continue working with him in a home environment, and although it may take some time for him to become a loving companion, it will be well worth the time and commitment to have given an animal in need a second chance at life.
