About Riley
Riley is quite the character here.
He was so shy & reserved when he first arrived & did nothing but sit in the corner & shake.
Once he realised the food put out for him was FOR him & he would not be punished for eating it, he has blossomed!
He is such a happy boy, who does not stop smiling & is loving life.
Riley has had little training, but should pick training up quickly, as he has a determination to learn & to please.
He loves to run, loves to be praised & although he is a strong boy & does pull when going for a walk, has the capacity to learn to walk correctly as he just enjoys being out & about with you.
He seems to get on well with other dogs, enjoys running & chasing games & is on his way to being house trained, as he hangs on in his kennel run until let out in the morning.
He probably would not suit a house with cats or pocket pets, & although seems ok with most small dogs, he does like to play a bit rough, so another dog of similar size that can keep up with him would be a better fit!
Adoption details
If you would like to adopt a country pet there are a few requirements.
A chat with the foster carer is the first step to determine if the pet is the right one for you and your lifrstyle. A yard check while having a meet and greet is the next step and if all is satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the foster carer.
