Kit Kat is a people pooch, she looooooves humans! She loves everyone she meets and she is very child friendly. She is the worst guard dog in the world, she doesn't even tell you when there's someone at the door she just stands there wagging her tail 🤣
Kitty Kat loves belly rubs and will do absolutely anything for one! ;
This stunning Choc girl is a Labrador x of med size and weighing in at 25 kilos so she's not a big girl

Kitty is a pretty chill girl, she's more than happy to follow me around the house all day. She watches what I'm doing and makes sure I don't drop any food on the floor.

She has the most beautiful brown coat and some lights that are almost red. She's so soft and amazing to cuddle.

Kitty can be very vocal in a whiney kind of way, she will let you know if she wants attention or needs to goto the toilet. She doesn't like being left home alone, a couple of hours here and there are fine but she is definitely not a dog that can be left for hours everyday.
Kitty Kat is pretty non destructive, she can take the kids toys every now and again. She prefers soft teddys or headphones so they cant be left out lol 🤦🏼‍♀️

Kitty has taken her time to open up to us, but it's definitely been worth the wait. Her personality is just beautiful. She has started to play bouncing around with a bouncy tennis ball, or chasing a soft Teddy. She does zoomies around the back yard or jumps from couch to couch. She is such a character.

Kit Kat lives up to her labrador breed when I say she is a foodie!! You cannot leave food unattended around her, even things left on the kitchen bench she will find a way to get them!! This also goes for bins Her nickname is BIN CHICKEN lol

Obedience
Kit Kat can be very stubborn; she can sit, stay and drop when food is involved.
Once she's focused on something it can be very hard to get her to concentrate. Kitty is very intelligent she would definitely benefit from ongoing training.

Walk - Lead experience
Kitty walks great on a lead most of the time. She will bark when she sees another dog, cat, horse or something that looks abnormal (someone putting out a rubbish bin, or a person carrying shopping) once they are out of sight she's back to normal.
Kit Kat is a nightmare to walk around with other animals in sight and therefore her adoption fee reflects her new family to be able to engage in a professional trainer to assist with this so if you are not planning on assisting Kitty with her lack of social skills please do not apply
Enrichment
Kitty loves her daily walks they are her favourite, I aim for 45 mins to an hour for her!
While I'm not home she needs some stimulation. This is where Kongs come into play or bones anything she can chew that'll keep her busy and out of trouble.
Soft toys and balls are her favourite when she feels like having a play.
Visitors
Kitty loves everyone, men, women, kids and strangers. People are her favourite!!
There is not a person she doesnt love to bits
Other animals
Kitty is Terrible with other dogs and also when she sees horses and cats so we assume all other pets
She will bark and jump around like a fruit loop hence the low adoption fee to ensure her new family can engage a trainer to assist her
Inside/Outside
Kit Kat is 100% an inside dog. She is a couch potato and she wouldn't have life any other way!
When I'm not home I leave the door open so she has access to the toilet.
She doesn't need a huge yard but one big enough so she can do her zoomies and have a good play
Sleeping
Kitty usually sleeps from about 10pm till 8am on a lazy day! She will usually just stay on the couch until someone gets up. If she needs to be let outside she will let us know.
Travel
Kitty is great in the car. She loves sticking her head out the window!
Ideal Home
- Family life would suit Kit Kat, kids would be a bonus.
- A loving home that will allow Kit Kat to be a part of the family.
- Someone who either works from home or only works a couple of hours a day.
- Someone who has time to take her on daily walks and until her socialization is up to speed away from other animals because as we said she carries on like a pork chop !!!
- Someone who has time to do ongoing training with Kit Kat.
- A yard to do zoomies in
