About Max
Hi, I'm Max and I'm one of the Stranger Things Crew!
I'm a bundle of mischief and energy! You can find me running around the room like crazy when I'm not sleeping. I love toys of all kinds and chasing my siblings around! I'm purry too, don't get me wrong, it's just I've got so much energy that I'm not too concerned with laps right now. That doesn't mean that I won't come up to you for a pat while purring my little head off though! I am still a purry girl who loves attention. One of my favourite things to do is help you clean the litter tray. I think the scoop is a great toy to try and catch! My foster carer says I'm her favourite but not to tell my siblings. She says I provide hours of entertainment and she could watch me all day!
My dream home is one where I can race around with lots of toys with a family who can spend tons of time with me! Another kitty friend would probably be best so I have a kitty sibling to keep me occupied.
Max has been:
- Tried with children between 2 and 9 and was fine with them.
- Untried with dogs (however, should be fine with them as long as her new owner has pre-planned for introductions and introduces her to them properly)
- Untried with cats outside of her family (however, should be fine with them if introduced properly)
***To be kept strictly indoors or with access to a secure enclosure only***
Max is approximately 13 weeks old (DOB 17/4/22) and her adoption fee of $200 includes:
- Desexing
- 1st vaccination
- Microchipping
- Flea and worming treatments until date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of her current food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys and other goodies to get her started.
Max is available to go home on the 23rd of July after she's had a bit of time to recover from her desexing surgery on the 19th. She's available to meet at her foster carer's home at Morphett Vale.
If you would like to meet Max, please fill out the following form (https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A) and her foster carer will be in touch as soon as possible to arrange a time to meet her.
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
If you wish to adopt a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application form https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A
