About Gypsy ~ 4mo Border Collie X(On Trial 31/7/22)
Meet the happiest, most gentle little girl you will ever have the chance to meet. Her name is Gypsy and she is an absolutely stunning 4mo Border Collie X Wolfhound.
Gypsy is a playful, and very happy-go-lucky type. She absolutely loves being out and playing with her foster siblings and plays very well with others. She is social, and very friendly with other dogs who regularly visit. She would very much love a home with another doggo or two to keep her company with regular outings to the dog park or beaches for stimulation. Being a working breed background, Gypsy will need to lead an active and exciting lifestyle. She will suit a family who is outdoorsy and will want to take her on adventures with them.
Gypsy has learnt a lot since coming into care. Her foster mum has her well taught in the basics of sit, toilet training and walking beautifully on a lead. Being still very young, we recommend puppy training or committed ongoing training to ensure these basics blossom into amazing manners as she gets older. She will be a medium to large dog and will require a home that will exercise her daily and provide activities that stimulate her curiosity and active nature. If you're a runner, Gypsy is your girl. This gorgeous girl is developing into a brave and independent soul who will be the most amazing life long companion.
Gypsy loves the attention and affection of people. She is super loving, and will take all of the cuddles you will give her. For this reason, we are searching for a home that will allow her to be inside and outside as she pleases. She will not suit being an only outdoor dog, and has been enjoying the creature comforts of indoor lifestyle. She loves being warm, comfy and cuddled up with her foster mum and fur siblings. Gypsy has met her foster carers cat, and just wants to be friends, so with proper introductions, should be fine living with cats.
Gypsy's perfect forever home would include:
- A nice big yard with 5-6ft fencing (colourbond or similar) with no small holes or gaps.
- Another male fur sibling to run, cuddle and play with.
- Children 5years and over. Being young and playful, Gypsy would be devastated to accidently knock young children over in her excitement.
- A family, couple, or single who are active, outdoorsy and understand the requirements of having a working breed dog in the home.
- A home that is committed to having a life-long fur partner that will span 15years +. She would be overwhelmingly upset to not find her perfect forever, so please consider your circumstances and how changes may impact your ability to commit and dedicate yourself to our gorgeous Gypsy.
- A super comfy, warm, cuddly couch that she can cuddle up to you on. And a lovely inside warm bed to sleep in.
This super loyal and bright young girl is on the hunt for her perfect forever. Is it you?
